The Poplars is a boutique bed and breakfast and private period guest house on the Roman trail in a quiet and peaceful part of Lincoln’s city centre

Close to Lincoln Cathedral, and Lincoln Castle within a historic old town whilst being within minutes from Bishop Grosseteste and Lincoln University, theatres, galleries and museums.

The Poplars offers en suite double, twin and single rooms, which include complimentary parking, Wifi, Netflix, Nespresso machines and within our delightful homely Lincoln guesthouse.
Also included is a free cooked breakfast, with a full menu of continental fayre and treats for all tastes which awaits you every morning.

Because of our unique & secluded city centre location, our Lincoln B&B is only a short walk from Lincoln University’s main departmental faculties and Brayford Marina (or just a 5-minute drive/20-minute walk to nearby Bishop Grosseteste University or Lincoln County Hospital).

We do enjoy meeting our guests and giving local advice and tips when needed otherwise we leave you alone to enjoy your stay, as we have a ‘just leave the keys in the room’ and ‘close the door behind you’ policy on your departure rather than waiting for a hotel in Lincoln ‘s reception to be free.

I most certainly recommend but most of all the omelette I had for breakfast along with the farmhouse toast and roasted coffee is probably thee best I've ever had so il most certainly be returning 👌🏽
